1:1 Client Support

Sometimes, just eating better and living generally healthier isn’t enough to bring your body back into balance - a more personalized approach that goes a bit deeper may be needed to support your wellness at a foundational level.

This is where individualized 1:1 Client Support comes into play.

Here is an outline of how I package my appointments and how we progress through our work together:

New Client Discovery Call – 30 minutes (free)

This is a chance for us to meet, get to know one another, and explore whether holistic nutrition is right for you.

I approach nutrition and wellness by strengthening the Foundations of Health: a nutrient-dense diet (with an emphasis on mineral and fatty acid balance, and hydration), sleep & circadian health, stress management, digestion, and blood sugar regulation.

We’ll explore your areas of concern, what you may have attempted in the past, and your goals.

We’ll conclude the session by providing you with a suggested roadmap of how we can work together to accomplish your goals and what approaches we would use to help get you there, or I may provide referrals to other practitioners and services that may be more appropriate for your needs.

Initial Consultation- 90 minutes ($120 + GST)

Once confirming our plan of working together, it’s time to dive in and begin the process.

In advance of this session, you’ll complete the Client Intake forms, which includes Initial Interview Questions, an in depth Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ), and a Food & Mood Journal.

This intake process allows to me to gain a deeper understanding of your current:

  • Health concerns and goals
  • Picture of health, including the health of each body system to help us uncover areas of weakness or deficiency
  • Lifestyle habits: sleep and circadian health, environmental wellness, stress management, energy levels, cooking methods, health/medical history, other practitioners with whom you may be working, etc.
  • Diet, meal timing, and eating patterns

At the conclusion of the Initial Consultation, we’ll land on initial recommendations and immediate steps you can take to start making progress towards your health goals.

Recommendations – 60 minutes ($80 + GST)

After consolidating the information shared in the Client Intake forms and topics discussed at our Initial Consultation, I’ll create an individualized set of nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations tailored that supports your Foundations of Health and your goals. This appointment allows us to explore these recommendations together and tailor them to your lifestyle needs.

Follow-up Consultation – 60 minutes ($80 + GST)

This consultation allows us to check in on the food, meal planning/recipes, and supplement side of your recommendations (or program). We may need to make adjustments and do some course-correction as you settle in, and these appointments provide us with the opportunity to do just that.

Follow-up Consultation – 45 minutes ($60 + GST)

This consultation allows us to check in on the lifestyle related changes that are part of your recommendations (or program). We may need to make adjustments and do some course-correction as you settle in, and these appointments provide us with the opportunity to do just that.

Final Session – 60 minutes ($80 GST)

You’ve arrived at the conclusion of your program, congratulations!

This appointment allows us to revisit your goals and gauge the progress we’ve made towards achieving those goals. Did we make it? Are you pleased with the progress you’ve made? Do you feel more equipped to navigate your next steps more independently?

This appointment allows us to review what has been accomplished and where we go from here.

Fuel Your Productivity

Is there a recipe for productivity?

Is there a way for us to experience highly productive days more often?

In this talk, we explore the key foundational factors that support the optimal function of our brains and bodies that leads to our productivity.

We’ll zero in on 3 key areas:

· Sleep and circadian rhythms

· Macronutrient balancing

· Optimal hydration

Leave the take feeling equipped with actionable ways for you to create your own recipe for success, using these key factors.

Wise Ways to Ritualize Stress Management

The sources of stress in our modern world are plentiful and sometimes it feels as though beating stress is a losing battle.

Interestingly, our bodies don’t distinguish the source of a stress, but rather accumulate it and carry it as a toxic load, or what is often referred to as our “stress bucket.”

Since prolonged states of carrying too much in our “stress buckets” can invite disease, learning how to effectively empty our buckets, thereby minimizing our stressors and building our defenses is so vital for health.

While there are many beneficial ways to manage stress, in this talk, we’ll learn how to create rituals on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis that allow you to welcome consistent stress management measures into your life.

We’ll discuss topics such as:

  • Sunlight exposure
  • Mindful eating
  • Hydration and mineral balance
  • Learning how to shift your eating and sleeping patterns with the seasons
