Wise Ways to Ritualize Stress Management

The sources of stress in our modern world are plentiful and sometimes it feels as though beating stress is a losing battle.

Interestingly, our bodies don’t distinguish the source of a stress, but rather accumulate it and carry it as a toxic load, or what is often referred to as our “stress bucket.”

Since prolonged states of carrying too much in our “stress buckets” can invite disease, learning how to effectively empty our buckets, thereby minimizing our stressors and building our defenses is so vital for health.

While there are many beneficial ways to manage stress, in this talk, we’ll learn how to create rituals on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis that allow you to welcome consistent stress management measures into your life.

We’ll discuss topics such as:

· Mindful eating

· Hydration and mineral balance

· Learning how to shift your eating and sleeping patterns with the seasons

Sometimes, just eating better and living generally healthier isn’t enough to bring your body back into balance - a more personalized approach that goes a bit deeper may be needed to support your wellness at a foundational level.

 This is where individualized 1:1 Client Support comes into play.

Kick Start Wellness - 1 consultation (90-minutes)

This package allows you to take the first step to understanding the health of your body systems and which Foundation of Health is in the greatest need of attention – it’s a perfect way to understand where to begin re-building your health.

I’ll share recipes and lifestyle changes to support that key Foundation to support your first step forward.

This package includes:

· Review and assessment of the: Initial Interview Questionnaire, Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ), and the Food & Mood Journal

· 90-minute one-on-one consultation to discuss results and provide an outline of the Foundation of Health showing the greatest need of additional support

· 5 recipes and 3 lifestyle changes that can be made to support that key Foundation

Fitting In Wellness - 5 session package

This streamlined package is designed for those who may have a good understanding of nutrition and wellness, but are struggling to actually fit it into their hectic schedules.

I’ll be your sounding board as we creatively brainstorm a plan together that addresses your bio-individual needs, focuses on quality and efficiency (giving you the greatest return on your efforts), and allows you to integrate these changes into the flow of your day.

This package includes:

· Initial 90-minute one-on-one onboarding consultation, including review of Initial Interview Questionnaire, Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ), and Food & Mood Journal

· 4 x 60-minute follow-up consultations focused upon the logistics of fitting in nutrition and lifestyle recommendations

· Access to handouts and worksheets to accompany topics discussed in the consultations

· Unlimited private messaging with through Practice Better portal (business hours Monday – Friday, with a typical response time of 24 hours

Foundational Wellness - 4 month package

This package is intended for those who would like to focus on re-building their health at a foundational level, after living in work-health imbalance for some time.

Your body may be showing signs of this imbalance in various ways - digestive issues, low energy, sugar cravings, or poor focus – or even all of the above.

You are ready to go deeper into making changes to your diet, food preparation and cooking methods, sleep, and lifestyle, and open to looking at your health from a fresh perspective.

This package includes:

· Initial 90-minute one-on-one onboarding consultation, including review of Initial Interview Questionnaire, Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ), and Food & Mood Journal

· 4 x 60-minute follow-up consultations that will focus upon food related changes

· 4 x 45-minute follow-up consultations that will focus upon lifestyle related changes

· Monthly Food & Mood Journal reviews (done during the 60-minute follow-up consultations)

· Access to handouts and worksheets to accompany topics discussed in the consultations

· Unlimited private messaging with through Practice Better portal (business hours Monday – Friday, with a typical response time of 24 hours)
